Meet Ex-President Rawlings’ only son, Kimathi Rawlings
Rawlings’ only son Kimathi Rawlings: Jerry John Rawlings is a former Ghanaian military leader and politician who ruled the country from 1981 to 2001 and also for a brief period in 1979. He led a military junta until 1992, and then served two terms as the democratically elected President of Ghana.
Kimathi Rawlings was born in the 80s to the former president of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings and his wife Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings.
He was named after Kenyan freedom fighter Dedan Kimathi.
He has three elder sisters; Dr. Zanetor Rawlings, Yaa Asantewaa Rawlings, and Amina Rawlings. Kimathi Rawlings had his basic education at North Ridge Lyceum and Morning Star School in Accra.
He and his sister, Amina continued their secondary education at Millfield School in England. He had his tertiary education at Aston University in Birmingham, England, where he studied Bachelor of Science (BSc), International Business.
The last born of Jerry Rawlings also has two certificates from MDT International: 1. An introduction to Oil and Gas production and 2. Negotiation Skills for the Oil & Gas Industry. Kimathi lives in London and works as a Commercial and Portfolio advisor at Eni, a multinational Oil, and Gas company.
