Former President Rawlings grabs his new voters ID card

Rawlings grabs his new voters ID card: Former President Jerry John Rawlings has registered and obtained a new voters’ identity card.
Mr. Rawlings on Thursday, July 9 visited the PWD Maintenance Unit Castle registration center in the Klottey Korle constituency of the Greater Accra Region to sign up for a new voters’ identity card.

Accompanied by his daughter and Member of Parliament for the Klottey Korle constituency, Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, the former President’s presence drew a large crowd, compelling him to depart the premises soon after obtaining his card.

Bawumia grabs his new voters’ ID: The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, on Friday, 3rd July 2020, joined qualified Ghanaians at the Kperiga D/A Primary School polling station, Walewale in the North East Region, to register for the new Voters’ ID card.

Accompanied by North East Region Minister and MP for Bunkpurugu, Hon Solomon Namlit Boar, Northern Region Minister Hon Salifu Saeed; and the MP for Walewale, Hon Sagre Bambangi, Vice President Bawumia interacted with the registration officials at the center, and inspected the process, including the enforcement of safety and social distancing protocols.
