EC releases Date for the compilation of the New Voters Register

EC releases Date for the compilation of the New Voters Register: The Electoral Commission of Ghana has released the date for the upcoming compilation of the New Voter’s Register to all political parties in the country.

The commission has set 30th June 2020 as the date for the nationwide compilation of the new voters’ register.

In a letter making rounds on Social media addressed to the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) dated 8th June 2020; the Deputy Chair in charge of Corporate Services wrote;

Dear Sir,

I bring you warm greetings from the Electoral Commission and trust that this letter finds you well.

This letter comes to inform you that the 2020 Voters Registration Exercise has been scheduled to commence on Tuesday, the 30, of June, 2020.

The registration will be held at all Registration Centres and District Offices of the Electoral Commission throughout the country.
